Nexii Climate Resilient Homes
In collaboration with the SAFERhome Standards Society, the Village of Lytton and the Lytton First Nation, Nexii is supporting the Lytton town rebuild efforts with two fire-resilient, low carbon homes. The Village of Lytton was devastated by a wildfire in the summer of 2021 and is currently in the process of rebuilding its town.
The climate-resilient homes will be built using our proprietary material Nexiite, a sustainable alternative to concrete with less embodied carbon. The homes will be manufactured offsite at Nexii’s Squamish production facility and assembled onsite, allowing for accelerated build times and near-zero construction waste. Additionally, the design of these Nexii buildings creates an energy efficient thermal envelope, saving future heating and cooling costs for homeowners.
Residential Solutions
The Lytton initiative is a pilot project for a residential home design using Nexii's sustainable building products. We anticipate accepting reservations for our residential offerings in 2023.
