To tackle the growing demand for fleet electrification across North America, Nexii and Siemens co-patented a sustainable EV charging prototype. This innovative, modular system was developed specifically to charge large numbers of EV fleets in outdoor environments. The prototype, called VersiCharge XL, ensures faster, more cost-effective installation capabilities with significant reduction of impacts to the environment.
VersiCharge XL is made possible by Nexii’s green building technology that houses Siemens Sentron™ Busway systems that connect power to the EV chargers. Extremely flexible and scalable, VersiCharge XL is an entirely above-ground unit. Unlike traditional units that require weeks of invasive excavation, it can be quickly manufactured, assembled, and installed onsite with minimal impacts to the surrounding environment.
